Dynamic Control Plan, or DCP, is a technique to create a total production control plan. DCP is used to determine relationships in product and process characteristics, and to permit the team to determine the minimum number of controls needed to achieve the maximum benefit. 

DCP relies on an empowered cross-functional team to thoroughly analyze and revise a process as required. The outcome of the DCP process is a completed, effective and lean production control plan.
